Something About Printing Technologies

Let's get to know more about different types of printing applications.
Digital Heat Transfer

The Japanese ROLAND Print & Cut Heat Transfers technology is one of the digital applications we are using.   It is an ultimate printing T-shirt machine for creating full-color, short-run T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, hats and other textiles.  So far, this is the best technology for maintaining the details from the artworks.

Silk Screen Printing

Screen printing is traditional printing method that allows the ink transferring to the print object through the open mesh apertures on the silk screen.  It is one of the widely used printing method for most of the ready made goods.

All-over Dye-Sublimation

Dye-sublimation (also commonly referred to as all-over printing) is a digital printing technology using full color artwork to transfer images to polyester and polymer-coated substrate based fabric.  Our way of applying this techlogy is to print on fabric before sewing.

Beware of the artwork or photo you submit!

Image Resolution

Please beware of your picture or artwork resolution.  If it is too low, the output image will not be clear.  Normally, a photo with 150dpi in full printing size shall be fine.  A small tip for you is to enlarge your image to approximately 24cm large (width or height), if it looks OK, the output shall be fine.

Lighting

For a dark picture given, it will not just turn bright itself. A simple method to turn your picture brighter is using the picture manager software comes with your window.  Easy to use.

Shape

Normally, the output will be in rectangular shape.  If your file is not in AI or CDR (vector based)format

and require an irregular print shape, an editing is required. Even a white background will still require editing.
